SKARDU: UNDP Pakistan is going to conduct a national conference for young MNAs of national youth assembly this week at Marriot Hotel Islamabad.
The theme of the conference is “Technology & Strengthening of Democracy, Opportunity and Challenges” in Pakistan”.
Anita ammacha Shigri and Rajh Mehboob Ali Khan young MNA from Skardu Gilgit – Baltistan [G-B] have nominated by the organizing committee to attend this conference representing Gilgit-Baltistan.
Anita Ammacha Shigri studies Defense and strategic studies at Quaid-e-Azam University Islamabad while Rajh Mehboob Ali Khan has recently completed his MS International Business from University of London (UK).
Both of them have recently been elected as young MNA National Youth Assembly.
Representatives of Youth National Assembly from all provinces include FATA and G-B are participating in this conference. This is first time G-B has representation in annual national conference organized by UNDP Pakistan.
Anita and Mehboob Ali Khan while talking to Outpost said that they would highlight the issues being faced by youth and the people especially the constitutional status.
