GILGIT-BALTISTAN: The federal government has extended the scope of Benazir Income Support Program in Gilgit-Baltistan. Chairperson BISP Marvi Memon has formerly launched the scheme on Sunday.
The Chairperson BISP Marvi Memon has today launched the BISP in Gilgit-Baltistan. Moreover, the federal government has also extended the scope of Prime Minister Interest Free Loan in Gilgit-Baltistan as well.
Chairperson, BISP has said that the government is taking steps to empower and address problems confronting the women in the country. She said that the Federal Government has also been extending the scope of Prime Minister Interest Free Loan Scheme and said the women to apply for the loan to enhance their role towards positive change in their life and in the region.
BISP is the flagship program of the government for women empowerment and poverty alleviation.
Dr Muhammad Iqbal, minister works, also spoke on the occasion, saying the women will benefit from the program as CM and prime minister are determined to improve their condition.
