GILGIT (PR): Pakistan Red Crescent Society (PRCS) Gilgit-Baltistan on Thursday organized a candle light vigil in its office to pay homage to those lost their lives in Karachi bus attack and Naltar Copter crash.
The ceremony was held at PRCS provincial office Gilgit and was attended by PRCS staff and volunteers. They held banners and placards to show solidarity with the victims and also condemn the brutal attack.
PRCS G-B Secretary Noor-ul-Ain speaking on the occasion said the ceremony meant to show the world the grief the nation felt and the resolve to standby the bereaved families.
She said that the entire staff is deeply saddened by the loss of precious lives in Karachi massacre and condemn the brutal attacks on citizens across the country.
She also expressed deep sorrow over tragic deaths of ambassadors of Philippines, Norway, the wives of Malaysian and Indonesian Ambassadors and valiant officers of Pakistan Army and all others who lost their lives in Nalter helicopter crash.
The participants of the ceremony prayed for the departed souls and expressed their grief and sorrow on the tragic incidents.
