GILGIT - The government of Gilgit-Baltistan has banned eleven religious organisations.
Home Secretary Sibtain Ahmad issued directions to keep an eye on the activities of these groups. These are Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan, Shia Tulba Action Committee, Markazi Sabeel Organization Gilgit, Tanzeem Nawjawanan-e-Ahl-e-Sunnat, Ahl-e-Sunnat waljamaat, Anjuman-e-Imamia Gilgit-Baltistan, Muslim Students Organization, Tehreek-e-Jafaria Pakistan, Tehreek-e-Islami and Khan-e-Hikmat.
He has requested media to discourage banned organizations. – The Nation
